Based in Cape Town, Wreckless Marine is a private company established to facilitate ocean exploration and increase the knowledge of what lies beneath the seas.
To explore, discover, connect and share.
It is our mission to explore the South African coast and discover new areas of interest that are valuable to the field of marine science. We collaborate with like-minded institutions and individuals such as marine biologists, geo-scientists, archeologists, divers and explorers.

After graduating with an LLM at the University of Cape Town, she entered private practice as a commercial litigator before pursuing a degree in financial accounting. She brings her combined 13 years of experience in legal and financial management to the Wreckless team as a researcher, to pursue her passion for local shipwrecks. She is particularly interested in the utilization of GIS and photogrammetry for shipwreck research.
The Wreckless Marine flagship, Wreckless II, is a 13m Bobkat catamaran, built by Two Oceans Marine in 2006. She was built as a research vessel for SAN Parks and acquired by Wreckless Marine in 2020.
